The Draft Network’s Jaime Eisner recently released his latest 2026 NFL mock draft via the Mock Draft Machine (MDM). Our Draft Network Top 100 prospect rankings have served as a reference point for his analysis and decisions. The college football season is over after Indiana was crowned as National Champions, so it's officially mock draft season!
I’ve been selected to dissect Eisner’s latest mock draft. I've identified my favorite selections, scheme fits, and the best prospect not selected. I also have some question marks. Let’s dive into The Draft Network’s latest 2026 NFL mock draft.
Favorite Pick: Jordyn Tyson, WR, New Orleans Saints (No. 8 overall)
New Orleans Saints quarterback Tyler Shough had a great rookie season. Shough performed like a long-term solution for the Saints. This upcoming sophomore season is all about surrounding his environment with more talent.
Drafting Jordyn Tyson would do that. Tyson's medicals will complicate his pre-draft process, but he's the most naturally gifted wide receiver in the entire class. He'd form a worthwhile one-two punch with Chris Olave.
Biggest Question Mark: Denzel Boston, WR, Pittsburgh Steelers (No. 21 overall)
The Pittsburgh Steelers could definitely use another wide receiver opposite D.K. Metcalf. We have questions about whether Denzel Boston is the right fit here. Boston is a big-bodied "X" receiver who wants to play vertically and make contested catches, in a similar mold to Metcalf.
Makai Lemon would have been an ideal fit due to his route-running prowess in the short and intermediate, but he was drafted by the Ravens in this scenario. The Steelers must sort through the quarterback and head coach positions this offseason. Whoever replaces Mike Tomlin and Aaron Rodgers will demand upgrades at receiver.
Best Scheme Fit: Vega Ioane, IOL, Los Angeles Chargers (No. 22 overall)
The Los Angeles Chargers just hired Mike McDaniel as their new offensive coordinator. McDaniel is the best play designer in the league, and his arrival will place more emphasis on improving the run game. That makes Olaivavega Ioane an outstanding scheme fit for what the Chargers will want to do in 2026.
Protecting Justin Herbert was another major issue. The Chargers missed their tackles due to injury, but the interior simply underperformed. Ioane would solidify things up the middle.
Best Value: Keldric Faulk, EDGE, Chicago Bears (No. 25 overall)
NFL scouts love Keldric Faulk. The Auburn standout didn't reach his full potential in college, but his inside-outside versatility and high ceiling as a run defender are appreciated in scouting circles. Faulk could get drafted significantly higher than at 25th overall, making him a value pick for the Chicago Bears here.
Bears general manager Ryan Poles should improve the defensive line this offseason. Getting pressure on opposing quarterbacks is always imperative in the playoffs, and the Bears expect to be yearly contenders moving forward. Faulk would add depth and versatility.
Best Player Not Selected: T.J. Parker, EDGE, Clemson
Clemson defensive end T.J. Parker was once viewed as a high-end prospect. He was No. 8 overall in our early-season TDN 100 rankings. Parker followed up an 11-sack season in 2024 with just five QB takedowns this past year. Has he really fallen out of the first-round conversation altogether?
