The 2026 Panini Senior Bowl will provide an opportunity for NFL draft prospects to showcase themselves on the largest pre-draft stage. Texas A&M offensive lineman Trey Zuhn III plans on taking full advantage. Zuhn recently spoke exclusively with the Senior Bowl and Draft Network to discuss his motivation for accepting his invitation to compete in Mobile, Alabama.
Zuhn also discussed what he's striving to prove to NFL general managers and scouts in attendance at the Senior Bowl, displaying positional versatility in Mobile, how he’d write his own scouting report, and more. Let's get to know Zuhn better ahead of his journey to the Panini Senior Bowl.
JM: Where were you when you found out about your Senior Bowl invite, and what was your initial reaction?
Trey Zuhn: I believe I was at the airport getting ready to fly back home when I got the call. I lost my mind with excitement. I’m ready to go compete against the best of the best. There’s no better place to do that than at the Senior Bowl.
JM: What motivated you to accept the Senior Bowl’s offer?
Trey Zuhn: The best of the best compete in Mobile. I want to do the same. I want to compete with those guys while proving I belong among them, I can hang with them, and even outperform them.
JM: What are you hoping to prove to NFL general managers, coaching staffs, and scouts in attendance in Mobile?
Trey Zuhn: I definitely want to showcase my foot speed and football IQ. I’m very knowledgeable when it comes to the game. I want to highlight my compete level. Maybe most important of all, I want to prove that I’m a versatile offensive lineman. I want to show that I can play all five positions on the offensive line.

JM: That’s interesting to me. You played a lot of offensive tackle at Texas A&M. Are you trying to show that you can play guard and/or center? Is that the feedback you’re getting?
Trey Zuhn: Yes sir. I played left tackle for four seasons at Texas A&M. I got a few reps at center this past season, and I absolutely loved playing center. I want to prove I can compete at the same level at all five positions, especially on the right side.
JM: Are you getting feedback that indicates you might be a guard or center in the NFL?
Trey Zuhn: Yeah, I’ve heard some of that throughout the process. I also want to show that I can continue competing at offensive tackle, though. I want to play wherever I can get on the field the fastest. Whatever position that is, I wanna prove capable of doing it.
JM: How would you write your own scouting report? Self-scout yourself for us. What are your traits and abilities as an offensive lineman?
Trey Zuhn: I would say that I’m very consistent. I have great footwork in pass protection. That’s probably my most consistent area. I have great knowledge of the game, a high football IQ. I think it pops on tape.
I’m always finishing through the whistle and chasing the ball down the field. I’m always picking up my running back or ball carrier off the ground and getting ready for the next play.
JM: We love that. Is Trey Zuhn agile in space, or more of a power blocker in a phone booth?
Trey Zuhn: I would say I’m probably more agile in space. That’s more of my profile. Having more snaps and time at offensive tackle, you have to be able to move in space. I also have the ability to kick inside and show off some power in a phone booth. I can hold up inside.
JM: You like playing in space. Is running outside zone, some West Coast Offense stuff, your go-to scheme?
Trey Zuhn: I would say yes. Running outside zone gives me a chance to showcase that agility in space. I can overtake somebody in space, but I can also be physical at the same time. I can overwhelm my opponent.
JM: If you had to compare yourself to a current NFL offensive lineman, who would you choose and why? Is there anyone in particular you try to study and learn from?
Trey Zuhn: That’s actually kinda funny. I don’t have a favorite player or anything like that. I think there’s something to be learned from every offensive lineman in the league. There’s some good, and there’s also some bad you can learn from.
JM: That’s a great point. We’ve appreciated your time today. At the end of the week, what does a successful Senior Bowl look like for Trey Zuhn?
Trey Zuhn: It means I dominated in my one-on-one reps. I know there are going to be some great athletes in attendance. I want to prove I belong. I’m ready to compete and prove myself as one of the best.
