The Draft Network’s Jaime Eisner recently released his latest 2025 NFL mock draft. Our Draft Network Top 100 prospect rankings have served as a reference point for his analysis and decisions. It’s mock draft season here at The Draft Network, with weekly iterations dropping every Sunday evening.
I’ve been selected to dissect Eisner’s mock draft. I've identified my favorite selections, scheme fits, and the best prospect not selected. I also have some question marks. Let’s dive into The Draft Network’s latest 2025 NFL mock draft.
Favorite Pick: Tetairoa McMillan, WR, Dallas Cowboys (No. 12 overall)
It's been difficult to sort through Tetairoa McMillan and his pre-draft evaluation. If the towering receiver slips out of the top 10, the Dallas Cowboys would probably be thrilled to pounce on his availability at No. 12 overall. McMillan would be an outstanding complement to CeeDee Lamb as the boundary "X" receiver. While Lamb does an outstanding job moving around the offensive formation and winning from the slot, the Arizona standout would dominate corners vertically on the edges.
Biggest Question Mark: Jaxson Dart, QB, New York Jets (No. 7 overall)
Eisner included a stunner in his mock with the New York Jets selecting Ole Miss quarterback Jaxson Dart at seventh overall. New general manager Darren Mougey and head coach Aaron Glenn are attempting to reset a toxic culture in East Rutherford. They signed quarterback Justin Fields to a modest two-year contract to serve as their bridge signal-caller. It's tough to foresee Mougey and Glenn willing to start the clock by drafting a QB in the top 10, nor is Dart worth spending premium draft capital on.
Best Scheme Fit: Malaki Starks, SAF, Minnesota Vikings (No. 24 overall)
Pairing Minnesota Vikings defensive coordinator Brian Flores with Georgia safety Malaki Starks, arguably the draft’s biggest movable chess piece? Yes please. The Vikings lost safety Cam Bynum to free agency, leaving them with the aging Harrison Smith and rotational player Theo Jackson at the position. Flores lacks a true game-changer in the defensive backfield. Starks would be an outstanding scheme fit.
Best Value: Jihaad Campbell, LB, Baltimore Ravens (No. 27 overall)
Alabama linebacker Jihaad Campbell would represent terrific value while also serving as an ideal schematic fit for the Baltimore Ravens. Campbell projects as a versatile front-seven piece who can rush the passer, stuff the run, and spot-drop in coverage. He'd serve as a like-for-like eventual replacement for the aging Kyle Van Noy. The Ravens would be thrilled here, but it's difficult to envision the Crimson Tide standout making it to No. 27 overall.
Best Player Not Selected: Emeka Egbuka, WR, Ohio State
Emeka Egbuka has been a victim of groupthink throughout the pre-draft process. The No. 24 overall prospect in our latest Draft Network 100 update, Egbuka enters the 2025 NFL Draft after producing multiple 1,000-yard and double-digit touchdown campaigns for the reigning national champions. The Buckeyes performer is a skilled and nuanced prospect who runs clean and crisp routes, creating separation before producing run-after-catch explosives. He's a first-round-worthy prospect all day long.
