Texas A&M EDGE Nic Scourton will be present at his Pro Day on Thursday. It represents a terrific opportunity for the Aggies standout to provide scouts with testing numbers after he declined to participate physically at the NFL Combine. Scourton only took part in the measurement process, coming in at 6-foot-3 and 257 pounds, a significantly lighter weight than he played at this past season.

The No. 34 overall prospect in our latest Draft Network 100 update, if Scourton posts impressive numbers, he'll re-enter the first-round conversation in the 2025 NFL Draft. The Bryan, Texas native who was once considered a top-32 lock has somewhat gotten lost in the mix. Scourton is still a powerful edge prospect with three-down potential due to his consistent ability to set the edge.

We've identified three potential team fits for Scourton in the 2025 NFL Draft.

Green Bay Packers

Green Bay Packers general manager Brian Gutekunst has certain thresholds for edge-rushing prospects, and Scourton fits the profile. He's a big-bodied, alignment-versatile defensive lineman who played around 280 pounds this past season. Scourton is powerful and tough, with equal parts ability to rush the passer and stuff the run.

Lukas Van Ness hasn't developed into an every-down player, and depth defensive end Kingsley Enagbare is entering another contract year. A ton of recent draft picks are entering fate-deciding years, Devonte Wyatt and Quay Walker included. The Packers could begin reshaping their front seven. Wide receiver and cornerback are fairly large needs here, but the Packers tend to address premium positions like EDGE before anything else. Scourton could be a potential target.

Baltimore Ravens

Scourton feels like a Baltimore Ravens target. They love tough, dependable, powerful, versatile edge rushers. The Ravens finished second in sacks last year with 54 quarterback takedowns. Regardless, changes are coming to their edge-rushing group.

The ageless Kyle Van Noy led the Ravens in sacks with 12.5. He'll turn 35 next offseason on another expiring contract. Odafe Oweh broke out with 10 sacks and he'll demand a lucrative extension as he's entering his fifth-year player option. David Ojabo is also scheduled for free agency and, unfortunately, hasn't been healthy enough to warrant an extension. The jury remains out on Adisa Isaac and Tavius Robinson. A couple of these players won't be back in Baltimore next season, and now's the time to start refilling the cupboard in anticipation of their departures.

Detroit Lions

Scourton also fits what Detroit Lions head coach Dan Campbell is looking for opposite Aidan Hutchinson. The Lions don't like undersized pass rushers and nobody would describe Scourton as such. He could be the solution to Detroit's long-lasting search for Hutchinson's running mate.

The Lions acquired veteran EDGE Za'Darius Smith at the trade deadline. He was a desperation midseason rental. GM Brad Holmes must utilize the draft to find a multi-year contributor at the position. Doing so became more important following Hutchinson's brutal season-ending injury. Defensive tackle Alim McNeill is also recovering from a season-ender. With the health and effectiveness of Detroit's defensive line in question, Scourton could come in and give them notable snaps right away.
