The Draft Network’s Daniel Harms recently released his latest 2025 NFL mock draft. Our Draft Network Top 100 prospect rankings have served as a reference point for his analysis and decisions. It’s mock draft season here at The Draft Network, with weekly iterations dropping every Sunday evening.
I’ve been selected to dissect Harms’ mock draft. I've identified my favorite selections, scheme fits, and the best prospect not selected. I also have some question marks. Let’s dive into The Draft Network’s latest 2025 NFL mock draft.
Favorite Pick: Jihaad Campbell, LB, Dallas Cowboys (No. 12 overall)
Alabama linebacker Jihaad Campbell has established himself as a top-20 pick throughout the pre-draft process, so it wouldn't be shocking to see the Dallas Cowboys pounce on his availability at No. 12 overall. The Crimson Tide standout ran a 4.52 and leaped a 10-foot-7 broad jump. The Cowboys' defense ranked 29th against the run (137.1/game) last season. Pairing Campbell with Micah Parsons would give new defensive coordinator Matt Eberflus a dynamic front seven.
Biggest Question Mark: Armand Membou, OT, Jacksonville Jaguars (No. 5 overall)
Armand Membou may be the first offensive tackle drafted after a rare athletic performance at the NFL Combine. Are the Jacksonville Jaguars the correct fit, though? They recently signed blindside protector Walker Little to a three-year extension through 2027 worth $40.5 million. Right-sided blocker Anton Harrison remains on his rookie contract through 2026 with a fifth-year option for 2027. Jacksonville's roster needs an instant contributor at No. 5 overall, and tackle is one of the few spots in good standing.
Best Scheme Fit: Mike Green, EDGE, Detroit Lions (No. 28 overall)
Marshall EDGE Mike Green just put forth an incredible performance at Pro Day. The double-digit sack artist ran a 99th-percentile 6.85 three-cone during the workout, and a 4.25 short shuttle (would've placed first and second at the combine). The Detroit Lions require a pass rusher with elite agility to pair opposite a recovering Aidan Hutchinson. Green would be a three-down defender for head coach Dan Campbell at a position that desperately requires another starting-caliber player.
Best Value: Kenneth Grant, DT, Buffalo Bills (No. 30 overall)
The Buffalo Bills will almost certainly target a defensive lineman at 30th overall. Defensive-minded head coach Sean McDermott believes in restocking that cupboard annually. The position currently lacks ideal depth behind Ed Oliver and the aging DaQuan Jones. They’d be thrilled if Kenneth Grant, a nice successor, is available that late. Grant is a big-bodied, dominant interior player who utilizes first-step explosiveness and sheer power to gain entry into the backfield.
Best Player Not Selected: Aireontae Ersery, OT, Minnesota
Harms' first-round mock is light on offensive tackles, with just four of them cracking the opening 32 (eight went last year). Half of Harms' selections here may kick inside to guard (Will Campbell and Kelvin Banks Jr.). Teams searching for a bonafide tackle prospect may prefer Minnesota's Aireontae Ersery. The No. 26 overall talent in our latest Draft Network 100 update, Ersery is a left tackle through and through with rare size and movement skills.
