Azareye'h Thomas' 3 Best NFL Draft Fits

Florida State cornerback Azareye'h Thomas will be among the Seminoles participating in Friday's Pro Day. NFL scouts are eager to see if Thomas will fully participate. He was limited at the NFL Combine, opting to test in just the broad jump, posting a 10-foot-2 result.

Thomas has been consistently mocked as a top-40 selection in the 2025 NFL Draft. The Niceville, Florida native posted 52 tackles, four pass breakups, and one interception in 2024. Thomas could establish himself as a second-round pick with a strong performance at Pro Day.

The No. 53 overall prospect in our latest Draft Network 100 update, Thomas projects as a physical press-man boundary corner. We’ve identified three ideal team fits for Thomas in the 2025 NFL Draft.

Baltimore Ravens

The Baltimore Ravens struggled to defend the pass throughout 2024, allowing a second-most 244.1 air yards per contest. Last year's first-round pick Nate Wiggins enjoyed a successful debut season, but more talent is required in the secondary, where sweeping changes have occurred. Brandon Stephens signed with the New York Jets in free agency after leading all Ravens back-end defenders in snaps (1,047) last season. Elsewhere, Kyle Williams was released from his contract.

The way Baltimore's corner room is currently constructed, they may be overly reliant on T.J. Tampa and Jalyn Armour-Davis opposite Marlon Humphrey. Cornerback could be a target for general manager Eric DeCosta at No. 27 overall. Thomas is an excellent scheme fit as an aggressive press-man outside corner.

Buffalo Bills

The Buffalo Bills finally admitted defeat on first-round bust Kaiir Elam, trading him to the Dallas Cowboys. Veteran cornerback Rasul Douglas remains available in unrestricted free agency and appears unlikely to return in 2025. General manager Brandon Beane addressed the position by reuniting with Dane Jackson, but corner remains a need given the Kansas City-sized roadblock the Bills inevitably face in the playoffs every year.

The Bills lack ideal depth at boundary corner behind Jackson and Christian Benford, the latter of whom is an underrated starter. Expect the Bills to target his appropriate running mate at either No. 30 or 62 overall. Thomas possesses patient footwork and he's long with nearly 32.5-inch arms. Thomas' aggressive tendencies project him as an immediate contributor at the next level.

Atlanta Falcons

The Atlanta Falcons had the 11th-worst pass defense in the league last season. That will displease defensive-minded head coach Raheem Morris. Morris' unit is top-heavy in the secondary with A.J. Terrell and Jessie Bates III possessing significantly more talent than their running mates. Mike Hughes was re-signed earlier this offseason despite allowing 39 receptions in coverage last season.

Hughes is a fine depth player, but he shouldn't be handed a starting gig without facing competition from a high-upside rookie. Atlanta will probably target a pass rusher at No. 15, but corner should be high on their second-round (46th overall) wish list. Morris' defense requires an injection of talented youth. Thomas would fit the blueprint opposite Terrell.
