The Draft Network’s Ryan Fowler recently released his latest 2025 NFL mock draft. Our Draft Network Top 100 prospect rankings have served as a reference point for his analysis and decisions. It’s mock draft season here at The Draft Network, with weekly iterations dropping every Sunday evening.
I’ve been selected to dissect Fowler’s mock draft. I've identified my favorite selections, scheme fits, and the best prospect not selected. I also have some question marks. Let’s dive into The Draft Network’s latest 2025 NFL mock draft.
Favorite Pick: Tetairoa McMillan, WR, Denver Broncos (No. 20 overall)
The Denver Broncos' offseason is focused on surrounding sophomore quarterback Bo Nix with more talent. Arizona wide receiver Tetairoa McMillan has been a divisive prospect throughout this pre-draft process. His reported 40-yard dash time, which ranged in the 4.5s, created additional discussion on social media following his Pro Day earlier this week. It's difficult to pinpoint where McMillan will be drafted, but the Broncos should be thrilled if he's available at 20th overall. He'd serve as a big-bodied boundary playmaker for Nix.
Biggest Question Mark: Omarion Hampton, RB, Dallas Cowboys (No. 12 overall)
The Dallas Cowboys rarely spend premium resources at running back. It's difficult to envision Jerry Jones reversing course and using the 12th overall selection on Omarion Hampton. For what it's worth, it should be under consideration after the Cowboys fielded the sixth-worst rushing attack in the league in 2024. Dallas did sign Javonte Williams in free agency to upgrade the depth in the backfield. They still need another ball-carrier, but they'll likely use this pick on a wide receiver, cornerback, or defensive lineman.
Best Scheme Fit: Armand Membou, OT, San Francisco 49ers (No. 11 overall)
Armand Membou would be plug-and-play for the San Francisco 49ers at 11th overall. He's an outstanding athlete, making him a natural fit for Kyle Shanahan's zone-based offense. Colton McKivitz was not effective at right tackle last season, and Membou would be a natural replacement. The Missouri standout could even slide over to the left side once Trent Williams retires.
Best Value: Mykel Williams, EDGE, Green Bay Packers (No. 23 overall)
Georgia EDGE Mykel Williams has been another divisive prospect. The Bulldogs performer possesses elite potential, but an injury and questionable positional fit prevented him from displaying the full range of his capabilities this past season. The Green Bay Packers would be a terrific landing spot for him to develop his performance ceiling, and they'd appreciate the value of a top-10 prospect at 23rd overall. Williams would learn from Kenny Clark, Devonte Wyatt, and Rashan Gary in his position room.
Best Player Not Selected: Luther Burden III, WR, Missouri
Missouri wide receiver Luther Burden III has been left out of our first-round mock for the second week in a row. The No. 36 overall prospect in our latest TDN100 update, Burden III is currently being underrated by our in-house scouting staff. Off-field rumors are negatively impacting his evaluation. Burden ran a 4.41-second 40 at the NFL Combine and also ran an outstanding gauntlet. There’s no questioning his abilities.
