The 2025 NFL Combine concluded on Sunday with offensive line workouts. Several prospects took full advantage of their opportunity to compete in Indianapolis this year. Various 2025 NFL Draft prospects improved their reputation with scouts and general managers as a result.
Quarterbacks, wide receivers, running backs, defensive linemen, linebackers, and tight ends were the position groups from earlier in the week. A ton of standouts altered their standing ahead of April’s festivities. We've identified five players who took the most advantage of their participation at this year’s NFL Combine.
Shemar Stewart, EDGE, Texas A&M
Shemar Stewart has been a divisive prospect throughout the process. The Texas A&M standout recorded just 1.5 sacks in 2024 and had a low-pressure rate compared to other top pass-rushing prospects. At Lucas Oil Stadium, Stewart displayed why his athleticism has teams ignoring the production numbers to consider him with a top-10 pick. The Miami, Florida native ran an impressive 4.59-second 40 at 6-foot-5 and 267 pounds. He also reached an unfathomable 40 inches in the vertical jump with a 10-foot-11 broad jump, 95th-percentile results or better dating back to 1999.
Nick Emmanwori, SAF, South Carolina
South Carolina safety Nick Emmanwori is one of the most athletic defensive backs in NFL Combine history. The Gamecocks performer possesses eye-popping size at 6-foot-3 and 220 pounds with 32.5-inch arms. Emmanwori jumped combine-bests in the vertical (43 inches) and broad jump (11-foot-6) drills. A 4.38 40 proves that rare size, lower-body explosion, and long speed help make up one of the rarest athletic profiles in the 2025 NFL Draft.
Matthew Golden, WR, Texas
Matthew Golden had been receiving first-round buzz entering the combine and he confirmed that status throughout a stellar week. The Texas-based playmaker paced the wide receivers with an impressive 4.29-second 40-yard dash with a 1.49-second 10-yard split. Golden's deep speed has scouts discussing the possibility of him being the first wide receiver off the board, ahead of Tetairoa McMillan.
Maxwell Hairston, CB, Kentucky
Kentucky cornerback Maxwell Hairston was terrific throughout the 2023 campaign, totaling 68 tackles, 11 pass deflections, and five interceptions. A shoulder injury sidelined him for the majority of 2024, however. Hairston reminded scouts of his athleticism after running the fastest 40-yard dash at the NFL Combine this year by hitting 4.28 seconds. Hairston also secured top-five finishes in the vertical (39.5 inches) and broad jump (10-foot-9). An elite athlete, he's back in the first-round conversation.
Armand Membou, OL, Missouri
Armand Membou's performance may have established himself as the top-ranked offensive lineman in the 2025 NFL Draft. The Missouri product ran the fastest 40-yard dash of any offensive tackle prospect, completing the foot race in 4.91 seconds at 332 pounds. Membou finished first in the broad jump (9-foot-7) and fourth in the vertical (34 inches) among participating blockers. His 33.5-inch arms also indicate he's capable of playing offensive tackle after some had previously projected him to guard. The movement skills needed to protect the edge are present.
