NFL Mock Draft 2025: Pre NFL Combine

author image

The Super Bowl is now completely behind us and we are in full swing of the offseason with free agency approaching and the NFL Combine this week. Every team in the NFL is focused on getting better than they were last year. But if history has taught us anything, draft picks matter and are a fundamental piece to winning a Super Bowl.

Check out my latest NFL mock draft as some teams are in search of franchise quarterbacks, and sometimes, they are just one young OL away from having true Super Bowl chances. Check it out and let me know what you think. It's Draft SZN!

2025 NFL Mock Draft

1. Tennessee Titans

Cam Ward, QB, Miami

There have been rumors that the Tennessee Titans are considering drafting a defensive player or trading out of this position to acquire more picks. In my opinion, they would be making a mistake by not trying to address their quarterback need. I think the Titans also realize this and decide to draft Cam Ward. Ward’s physical tools are as good as other first-round picks, and he has the potential to be a top-10 quarterback in the NFL. The Titans haven't had a signal-caller this talented since Steve McNair, and with this selection, they could be back on the road to a Super Bowl in a few years.

2. Cleveland Browns

Abdul Carter, EDGE, Penn State

The Cleveland Browns have gone from bad to worse, with not only one of the worst quarterback situations but now their face of the franchise, edge rusher Myles Garrett, making it clear he wants out. While the Browns could go quarterback here, I think they are on the brink of a full-on rebuild, and this is not the right time to bring in a rookie quarterback. So, with this pick, they draft a replacement for Garrett and a player who could be the best in the entire draft class: Abdul Carter.

3. New York Giants

Shedeur Sanders, QB, Colorado

Shedeur Sanders to the New York Giants. Every year, there are player-team fits that make too much sense not to happen, and this year, this is that pick. There is no prospect more ready for the bright lights of New York than the son of Primetime, Deion Sanders. Shedeur Sanders not only has the bravado and swagger to thrive in New York, but he also has the talent and understands how to navigate bad situations from an organizational perspective, with the patience and work ethic to turn things around.

4. New England Patriots

Will Campbell, OT, LSU

The New England Patriots hired Mike Vrabel this offseason, and there isn’t a more Vrabel-type player in this draft than Will Campbell. Campbell will be an immediate impact starter for the Patriots, filling an important team need, but he also brings physicality to the position. Campbell is a physical, road-grading OT who could also play IOL if needed. If the Patriots want to get back to the days when Vrabel played, it will start in the trenches and with guys like Campbell.

5. Jacksonville Jaguars

Travis Hunter, CB/WR, Colorado

This offseason should be simple for the Jacksonville Jaguars: surround Trevor Lawrence with as many pieces as possible to figure out if he is actually a franchise quarterback or not. Travis Hunter, in my opinion, can play CB in the NFL, but his best position is WR. Putting Hunter at receiver for the Jaguars gives them another playmaker for Lawrence, as Hunter has proven in college that he is a dynamic playmaker with the ball in his hands.

6. Las Vegas Raiders

Jalen Milroe, QB, Alabama

The Las Vegas Raiders are going through an entire revamp across the board: Tom Brady as a minority owner, a new head coach in Pete Carroll, and a new GM. These all appear to be good moves by the Raiders if the goal is to be one of the best teams in the NFL in the near future. But to be one of the best teams in the NFL, they will need a face-of-the-franchise quarterback, and they go with Jalen Milroe. Milroe has all of the physical tools wanted in an NFL quarterback, plus he has the leadership skills necessary to lead a franchise. The flaws in Milroe’s game are ones that I think both Brady and Carroll will believe they can improve on, helping Milroe become a consistent, high-level operator.

7. New York Jets

Jaxson Dart, QB, Ole Miss

Two years ago, the New York Jets and their fans would have bet the house that they would be closer to a Super Bowl than picking in the top 10 and drafting a quarterback for their franchise. But here we are. Moving on from Aaron Rodgers means they need a franchise guy, and the Jets take a swing here on Jaxson Dart. Dart is a mobile quarterback with the arm talent to make all the throws in the NFL.

8. Carolina Panthers

Tetairoa McMillan, WR, Arizona

Despite all of the drama last year for the Carolina Panthers, it appears that it was a net positive because Bryce Young has taken steps forward as a quarterback. However, evaluating this roster, it seems there are still offensive needs that must be addressed to get the best version of Bryce Young in the NFL. So, with this pick, the Panthers go WR and draft Tetairoa McMillan. McMillan is another big-bodied receiver who, paired with Xavier Legette, should give Young a great young duo to throw to for many years to come.

9. New Orleans Saints

Will Johnson, CB, Michigan

The New Orleans Saints have holes across this roster, as draft picks did not work out and players have simply gotten older and are not performing at the level they once did. While they could address the offensive side of the ball, the way this board falls gives them the opportunity to draft the best player available, which is the best CB in the draft. Will Johnson has the upside to be a top 10 CB in the NFL one day and could eliminate an opposing team's No. 1 receiver.

10. Chicago Bears

Josh Simmons, OT, Ohio State

The Chicago Bears have some work to do both defensively and offensively to take the next step forward in a competitive NFC North. But next year's success will be determined by Caleb Williams and his play. To help Williams, the glaring position that needs to be addressed is the offensive line. Josh Simmons appears to be a plug-and-play OT who can immediately fill a void that the Bears currently have protecting the blindside of their quarterback, allowing Williams to comfortably stand in the pocket and make plays.

11. San Francisco 49ers

Donovan Jackson, IOL, Ohio State

If the San Francisco 49ers want to continue to be one of the best teams in the NFC, they have to hit on young draft picks and help transition this team into a new era. That starts at key positions, and one of those is the offensive line. Donovan Jackson is a versatile offensive lineman who could play most of the offensive line positions. This pick gives the 49ers an opportunity to put the best starting five on the field and keep Brock Purdy upright, allowing him to deliver the football to his playmakers.

12. Dallas Cowboys

Mason Graham, IDL, Michigan

The Dallas Cowboys have plenty of holes to address, and they seem to be stockpiling as their All-Pro guard Zach Martin recently announced his retirement. The Dallas Cowboys roster is top-heavy with a few superstar players, but this roster lacks talent at multiple positions. With the way the board fell in this draft, I think the Cowboys should take the best player available, and that winds up being one of the best players in the draft: Mason Graham. Graham has Pro Bowl to All-Pro potential and immediately fills a need for the Cowboys at the IDL position.

13. Miami Dolphins

Walter Nolen, IDL, Ole Miss

The trenches have been an issue for the Miami Dolphins for a couple of years now, and it's finally time to address them. Walter Nolen is one of the most impressive prospects this year, showing he can be an IDL who can stop the run and sack the quarterback. The Dolphins have good pieces in place, but they must improve the trenches to contend with some of the top teams in the AFC.

14. Indianapolis Colts

Colston Loveland, TE, Michigan

The Indianapolis Colts have done a great job of surrounding Anthony Richardson with weapons at every position except TE. In one of the more talented TE classes in recent history, this seems like an ideal spot to address the TE position for the Colts. With this pick, they draft Michigan TE Colston Loveland, a big-bodied, fluid mover who is versatile and dynamic in what he can do for an NFL offense. Colston Loveland adds to this offense, giving the Colts one of the best young skill-position groups in the NFL.

15. Atlanta Falcons

Jalon Walker, LB/EDGE, Georgia

The Atlanta Falcons defensively have two major holes: linebacker and edge rusher. With the selection of Jalon Walker, they can address both positions at once. Walker is one of the true versatile defenders in this class who can give high-level reps as a stack backer, but he also presents as one of the best edge rushers in this class. Additionally, he plays the game with a relentless motor that can be culture-changing for a defense.

16. Arizona Cardinals

Mykel Williams, EDGE, Georgia

The Arizona Cardinals have a roster with multiple holes throughout, so there are many different ways they can go here to address a need. With this pick, I believe they go with edge rusher Mykel Williams from Georgia. Williams has had a lack of production in his collegiate career, but the physical tools of length, explosiveness, and power are all too intriguing for the Cardinals to pass up. Williams, in the right situation, has the upside to be one of the best pass rushers in the NFL, and I believe HC Jonathan Gannon would want his shot at developing him.

17. Cincinnati Bengals

Matthew Golden, WR, Texas

The Cincinnati Bengals' WR situation will be one of the bigger storylines to continue following. Ultimately, I believe the Bengals decide to pay Ja'Marr Chase and trade Tee Higgins. But to show their franchise QB they are all in on winning, they draft Texas WR Matthew Golden. Golden is a three-level winner who appears to be a great complementary force to Chase, while also having the ability to dominate games on his own.

18. Seattle Seahawks

Kelvin Banks Jr., OL, Texas

The Seattle Seahawks' OL had several different issues last year, which caused the offense to not be as efficient as needed. Some of the issues were simply talent-related, and with this pick, the Seahawks draft Texas OT Kelvin Banks Jr. He fits well with the Seahawks because Banks can kick inside to guard and be a high-level player there as well. The Seahawks' OL needs reshuffling, and drafting Banks helps with that.

19. Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Mike Green, EDGE, Marshall

The edge rusher position is one that the Tampa Bay Buccaneers have taken multiple swings at in order to find a true premier guy. While YaYa Diaby appears to be an ascending edge rusher for the Buccaneers, they still need to find a counterpart that can help boost this pass rush further. So, with this pick, the Buccaneers go with Marshall edge rusher Mike Green. Green is an explosive player who has the upside to be a double-digit sack producer. With how much Todd Bowles likes to blitz, it could give Green more one-on-one opportunities to be successful very early in his career.

20. Denver Broncos

Tyler Warren, TE, Penn State

The Denver Broncos were the surprise team of the NFL last year, making the playoffs with a roster that had many needs. One of those needs is the TE position. In the first round, the Broncos address that need and go with Tyler Warren. Warren is a big body in the middle of the field for Bo Nix to utilize. Warren is a playmaker at the TE position—an offensive game plan could be run through him.

Broncos Mock Draft

21. Pittsburgh Steelers

Will Howard, QB, Ohio State

The Pittsburgh Steelers haven't found an answer at the quarterback position since Ben Roethlisberger retired, and this is a major reason why they struggle to make it out of the first round. With that being said, they take another swing at a first-round quarterback in Ohio State's Will Howard. Howard is from the state of Pennsylvania and is a big, mobile quarterback who can make throws to all levels of the field. Howard's game may actually remind some Steelers fans of Roethlisberger.

22. Los Angeles Chargers

Ashton Jeanty, RB, Boise State

Jim Harbaugh's recipe for winning is always to play physical defense and have a strong rushing attack. Last year, the Los Angeles Chargers went with a running back by committee, which was effective, but it's time to take it to another level. With this pick, they draft Ashton Jeanty, who, behind this offensive line, should be one of the most productive running backs in the NFL quickly and help the Chargers get one step closer to a Super Bowl.

23. Green Bay Packers

Nic Scourton, EDGE, Texas A&M

The Green Bay Packers have always found creative ways to utilize front-seven defenders, and Nic Scourton fits that mold. At almost 300 pounds, Scourton presents a unique skill set for an edge rusher, with the ability to also move inside and rush as an interior defensive lineman. Mixing him into this defensive group should make the Packers more versatile up front and allow them to dictate matchups defensively.

24. Minnesota Vikings

Kenneth Grant, IDL, Michigan

This would be the layup of all layups for the Minnesota Vikings. They've needed to address the IDL position for a few years, and with this pick, they take Michigan IDL Kenneth Grant. Grant is one of the best players in this draft, and if the Vikings could get their hands on him at No. 24, they should consider it a draft steal in the first round.

25. Houston Texans

Tyler Booker, IOL, Alabama

The Houston Texans are trying to climb up the mountain in a tough AFC. In order to do that, they are going to have to dominate some elite teams in the trenches. With this pick, the Texans draft IOL Tyler Booker. Booker is a road-grading IOL who can help create big running lanes for the Texans' running backs and help out C.J. Stroud as he enters year three.

26. Los Angeles Rams

Emeka Egbuka, WR, Ohio State

The Los Angeles Rams appear to be on the brink of a massive overhaul and are giving some of their key players the opportunity to seek out other places to play football. This is a sign that GM Les Snead feels that this is the right time to go with a youth movement and recalibrate this team to move into the future. One of those pieces they will be moving on from is Cooper Kupp. With this pick, they draft his replacement, WR Emeka Egbuka. Egbuka is alignment-versatile and a great fit for this offense.

27. Baltimore Ravens

Luther Burden III, WR, Missouri

The Baltimore Ravens continue to dominate the regular season but fall short of postseason expectations. One of the reasons why is this team's lack of weapons at the receiver position. In this year's draft, the Ravens select Luther Burden III, a player who can win one-on-one matchups and is a great run-after-the-catch player.

28. Detroit Lions

Shemar Stewart, EDGE, Texas A&M

The Detroit Lions' offseason needs to be about improving their defense, and it starts with the defensive front. Shemar Stewart, working opposite Aidan Hutchinson, should get a lot of one-on-one opportunities and be able to make plays. The Lions' goal is the Super Bowl, and in order to get there, they need a defensive front that has the opportunity to be dominant.

29. Washington Commanders

Aireontae Ersery, OT, Minnesota

The Washington Commanders are well on their way to being one of the best teams in the NFL after only one year with Jayden Daniels as their signal-caller. However, they have to remain focused on improving the surroundings around Daniels, and one of those areas is improving the offensive line. The Commanders drafting Aireonate Ersery means they could move Brandon Coleman to IOL while giving them a potential bookend LT for the next 10 years.

30. Buffalo Bills

Azareye'h Thomas, CB, Florida State

The Buffalo Bills are at a stage where everybody knows they are a Super Bowl-worthy team, but the question is: how do they get over the hump? They have to do that by continuing to add valuable pieces to this team. The Bills are going to need help in the secondary to help stop the opposing offenses in the AFC. So, with this pick, they go with Florida State DB Azareye'h Thomas. Thomas has the length and athleticism to physically match up with some of the best WRs in the NFL.

31. Kansas City Chiefs

Josh Conerly Jr., OT, Oregon

After the Super Bowl, this appears to be the only answer for the Kansas City Chiefs in the draft. The Chiefs' formula appears to be rather simple: Protect Patrick Mahomes and win the Super Bowl. Don't protect Patrick Mahomes and lose. So, this is simple—draft an OL, improve this OL, and the dynasty continues.

32. Philadelphia Eagles

Jihaad Campbell, LB, Alabama

The Philadelphia Eagles' drafts in the past were heavily criticized, but they can sit back now as Super Bowl champions and have the last laugh. One of the biggest reasons they are champs is their ability to identify the upside in front-seven talent and utilize it. This year, that guy is Jihaad Campbell. Campbell has exceptional length and range for a linebacker. But for a linebacker, he has tremendous upside as a pass rusher and could be a very impactful player rushing off the edge or blitzing.
