The 2024 preseason began on Thursday with the Chicago Bears and Houston Texans partaking in this year's Pro Football Hall of Fame Game. It's full steam ahead toward the new NFL campaign, which means it's not too early for a 2025 NFL mock draft. I've identified ideal landing spots for college football's top prospects with the opening 32 selections in TDN's first 2025 mock draft since April.
Please note, the draft order is set using the reverse order of Super Bowl betting odds. Click on each player's name to read their full scouting report.
2025 NFL Mock Draft
1. Carolina Panthers
Mykel Williams, EDGE, Georgia
If the Panthers can't trade this hypothetical pick, they'll address a pass rush that no longer has Brian Burns. Mykel Williams is a high-upside defender who is making the transition to outside linebacker this season. He has a ton of untapped growth potential.
2. New England Patriots
Will Campbell, OT, LSU
Protecting Drake Maye will be the top priority next offseason. The Patriots are entering 2024 with a bunch of question marks across their offensive line. Will Campbell is an advanced technician with terrific foot quickness.
3. Denver Broncos
Kelvin Banks Jr., OT, Texas
Broncos left tackle Garret Bolles is entering a contract year. Head coach Sean Payton revamped the offense by drafting Bo Nix to be his new quarterback. Texas' Kelvin Banks Jr. possesses franchise left tackle athleticism.
4. New York Giants
Carson Beck, QB, Georgia
I'm not convinced Daniel Jones will finish the season as the starter. If things go haywire, the Giants could bench him to prevent any potential injury guarantees from triggering—which is what happened to Russell Wilson and Derek Carr recently. Carson Beck has a chance to establish himself as QB1 in this class if he builds on his impressive 2023 season.
5. Tennessee Titans
James Pearce Jr., EDGE, Tennessee
The Titans will probably spend the entire 2024 season wishing they had an appropriate running mate opposite Harold Landry. It became a bigger problem following Arden Key's reported six-game suspension. They don't have to search far for help with Tennessee Volunteers EDGE James Pearce Jr. offering a local solution.
6. Washington Commanders
Will Johnson, CB, Michigan
2023 first-rounder Emmanuel Forbes Jr. hasn't met expectations, and there's a new regime in town. Defensive-minded head coach Dan Quinn will prioritize the cornerback spot. Will Johnson is our top-ranked prospect heading into the new season.
7. New Orleans Saints
Abdul Carter, EDGE, Penn State
Cameron Jordan isn't going to be around forever. Payton Turner and Isaiah Foskey are still developing. The Saints could use another high-upside pass rusher. Abdul Carter pairs instincts with range and athleticism. His full-time move from 'MIKE' linebacker to 5-tech edge rusher should go swimmingly.
8. Las Vegas Raiders
Shedeur Sanders, QB, Colorado
The Raiders chose patience this offseason. Gardner Minshew and Aidan O'Connell are obviously placeholder quarterbacks. Shedeur Sanders is the most accurate and poised QB in all of college football.
9. Arizona Cardinals
Travis Hunter, CB/WR, Colorado
Will Travis Hunter play wide receiver or cornerback in the NFL? It's a question that could dominate the pre-draft landscape. He possesses more upside at cornerback, where his ball skills, instincts, and athleticism lead to outstanding results.
10. Minnesota Vikings
Mason Graham, IDL, Michigan
Brian Flores' defense needs more meat on the interior. Michigan's Mason Graham is a dominant 3-tech. Graham projects as a three-down defender with high-level disruption ability.
11. Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Denzel Burke, CB, Ohio State
Denzel Burke returned to form in 2023 after injuries derailed his 2022. Burke thrives in both press-man and off-man coverage schemes. The Buccaneers have a sizable need at cornerback after trading Carlton Davis to the Detroit Lions earlier this offseason.
12. Indianapolis Colts
Colston Loveland, TE, Michigan
The Colts were connected to Brock Bowers throughout the 2024 process. The tight end position could use upgrading as they continue investing in Anthony Richardson. Colston Loveland is a legitimate threat in the open field with rare run-after-catch capability.

13. Seattle Seahawks
Conner Weigman, QB, Texas A&M
Geno Smith isn't guaranteed to be on the 2025 roster. Texas A&M's Conner Weigman is one of the most intriguing QBs heading into 2024. Weigman flashed dynamic abilities in 2023, accounting for 10 touchdowns before a season-ending foot injury.
14. Pittsburgh Steelers
Luther Burden III, WR, Missouri
George Pickens is the new No. 1 receiver in Pittsburgh. Roman Wilson is versatile enough to play both inside and outside. This receiver room feels incomplete. Luther Burden III averaged an explosive 14.1 yards per catch last season on 86 receptions for 1,212 yards.
15. Jacksonville Jaguars
Emery Jones Jr., OT, LSU
Both Cam Robinson and Walker Little are entering contract years. Starting right tackle Anton Harrison could slide to left tackle following Robinson's expected departure. Emery Jones is LSU's right-sided blocker, and he's a patient technician with a finisher's mentality.
16. Los Angeles Chargers
Benjamin Morrison, CB, Notre Dame
The Chargers fielded the 30th-ranked pass defense in 2023. They don't have any proven long-term solutions at cornerback besides Asante Samuel Jr. Benjamin Morrison is a ball magnet who recorded 13 pass breakups last season.
17. Cleveland Browns
Aireontae Ersery, OT, Minnesota
I'm not convinced Jedrick Wills and Jack Conklin are going to be on the 2025 Browns. Dawand Jones is a solution at right tackle, but Cleveland will need a new blindside protector if they decline to re-sign Wills. Airetone Ersery is a massive tackle prospect with outstanding length and movement skills.
18. Chicago Bears
Nic Scourton, EDGE, Texas A&M
The Bears need another pass rusher to pair with Montez Sweat. Nic Scourton will attempt to leave his mark on the SEC this season after transferring from Purdue to Texas A&M. He accumulated an impressive 10 sacks for the Boilermakers last season.
19. Los Angeles Rams
Quincy Riley, CB, Louisville
Quincy Riley has thrived in Louisville after previously playing at Middle Tennessee. Riley has proven capable of handling big-conference ball by totaling 19 pass breakups and six interceptions in two seasons with the Cardinals. The Rams need to reset at cornerback with aging players like Tre'Davious White and Darious Williams serving as temporary solutions.
20. Miami Dolphins
Deone Walker, IDL, Kentucky
Losing Christian Wilkins to free agency delivered a blow to the Dolphins' defense. New defensive coordinator Anthony Weaver understands what a dominant interior pass rusher does for a defense after coaching Justin Madubuike in Baltimore last season. Deone Walker, who had 12.5 TFLs and 7.5 sacks in 2023, fits that mold.
21. Atlanta Falcons
Emeka Egbuka, WR, Ohio State
The Falcons lack an appropriate WR2 opposite Drake London. Emeka Egbuka would be the perfect complement. He could play the slot or "Z" in Atlanta.
22. New York Jets
Tetairoa McMillan, WR, Arizona
The Jets probably won't pick high enough to target Aaron Rodgers' successor. The next best thing they can do is round out their pass-catching corps in anticipation of the next QBs arrival. Tetairoa McMillan has prototypical "X" size and tendencies.
23. Green Bay Packers
J.T. Tuimoloau, EDGE, Ohio State
Preston Smith could be a cap casualty next offseason. General manager Brian Gutekunst will want to continue adding young talent to this defensive line. J.T. Tuimoloau is a physical defender who sets a firm edge.
24. Buffalo Bills
Malaki Starks, SAF, Georgia
The Bills are having issues at safety this offseason. Hopefully, Cole Bishop fills a need, but this room remains in transition. Malaki Starks blends elite athletic traits with instincts.
25. Dallas Cowboys
Isaiah Bond, WR, Texas
Aging wideout Brandin Cooks is entering a contract year. The Cowboys will want to get cheaper at WR2 following an inevitable and historic extension for CeeDee Lamb. Isaiah Bond is the next explosive vertical receiver coming out of Texas.
26. Cincinnati Bengals
Evan Stewart, WR, Oregon
The Bengals can't afford to retain Tee Higgins beyond 2024 and we'll see if Jermaine Burton and Andrei Iosivas can establish themselves as starting-caliber wideouts. Enter Evan Stewart, who should have a massive season at Oregon after joining the program from Texas A&M. Stewart's natural separation skills would quickly endear themselves to Joe Burrow.
27. Houston Texans
Tyler Booker, IOL, Alabama
The Texans have questions across their interior offensive line with Kenyon Green at guard and Juice Scruggs at center. Alabama's Tyler Booker is a massive blocker at a listed 6-foot-5 and 335 pounds. Booker uses strength and size to generate movement up front.
28. Philadelphia Eagles
Donovan Jackson, IOL, Ohio State
Mekhi Becton and Tyler Steen are battling to start at right guard for the Eagles this season. GM Howie Roseman will want to address the position if neither player proves to be a long-term solution. Donovan Jackson is a pro-ready guard who would have garnered top-64 consideration had he entered the 2024 draft.
29. Detroit Lions
Kenneth Grant, IDL, Michigan
The Lions love their local connections. Michigan's Kenneth Grant is a big-bodied interior defender with first-step quickness. Grant's ability to clog the middle would make the likes of Aidan Hutchinson and Jack Campbell even more impactful.
30. Baltimore Ravens
Jonah Savaiinaea, OT/OG, Arizona
The Ravens doubled down on their run-heavy identity by adding Derrick Henry earlier this summer. They're entering the season with a concerning situation at guard after losing John Simpson and Kevin Zeitler to free agency. Jonah Savaiinaea would project as an immediate starter with terrific mass and anchor.
31. San Francisco 49ers
Ajani Cornelius, OT, Oregon
Colton McKivitz still hasn't convinced fans that he's the right tackle solution. Ajani Cornelius was a big-time performer at that poison for the Oregon Ducks last season after transferring to the program from Rhode Island. Cornelius allowed zero sacks and just 11 pressures via 512 pass-blocking reps.
32. Kansas City Chiefs
Walter Nolen, IDL, Ole Miss
Chris Jones will turn 31 before the 2025 season. Derrick Nnadi is also set to reach free agency next offseason. Walter Nolen would play rotational snaps as a rookie while casually growing into a larger role.
