The 2024 NFL Draft season is in full swing as we have made it through the Senior Bowl and the NFL Scouting Combine. As we enter pro day season, I decided to drop my first two-round mock draft to improve all 32 teams.
The following picks are based on rumors and team fits. Here is my first two-round mock draft of the 2024 NFL Draft cycle.
2024 NFL Mock Draft
1. Chicago Bears (via CAR)
Caleb Williams, QB, USC
Caleb Williams' dual-threat and off-script playmaking ability combined with his outstanding arm talent gives the Bears another chance at a high-ceiling franchise-caliber QB to lead them for years to come.
2. Washington Commanders
Jayden Daniels, QB, LSU
The Commanders need an upgrade at QB, among other position groups. With a pick this high, go grab a game-changing talent. Jayden Daniels is the best pure athlete at the QB position. With the combination of deep passing accuracy and elite speed, Daniels can take this offense to new heights.
3. New England Patriots
Drake Maye, QB, North Carolina
The word from the NFL Combine was the Patriots are not looking to trade down. Instead, selecting a quarterback seems to be the direction they're headed. Drake Maye is an outstanding talent with more room to grow and develop into a high-end signal-caller. He checks all of the boxes: height, athleticism, and arm talent. New days are coming for the Patriots faithful.
4. Arizona Cardinals
Marvin Harrison Jr., WR, Ohio State
The Cardinals find their Larry Fitzgerald 2.0 in Marvin Harrison Jr. Kyler Murray would have a true WR1 to lead this passing attack and pair with soon-to-be third-year TE Trey McBride and second-year WR Michael Wilson.
5. Minnesota Vikings (via Trade-Up w/ LAC)
J.J. McCarthy, QB, Michigan
LAC receives: 1.11, 2.42, 2025 1st, 2025 3rd
The Vikings should focus on resetting the QB position. Trading up to select a toolsy J.J. McCarthy to fit within Kevin O'Connell's offense with a great WR duo sounds like the move to make!
6. New York Giants
Malik Nabers, WR, LSU
OT or WR? With four QBs selected in front of them, the Giants must select an impact player to help elevate Daniel Jones. Malik Nabers will give him a dynamic and explosive run-after-catch threat to pair with Darren Waller and the rest of their weapons. A new potential WR1–OBJ 2.0?
7. Tennessee Titans
Joe Alt, OT, Notre Dame
Protecting Will Levis is priority No. 1 for the Titans. Joe Alt is the most polished and technically refined LT prospect in the class. He can be an instant day-one starter that Levis can trust to protect his blindside.
8. Atlanta Falcons
Jared Verse, EDGE, Florida State
It appears the Falcons will have a veteran QB at the moment. If so, upgrading one of the weaker positions defensively would be great. Jared Verse is one of the best and most complete edge rushers in the class. He gives them a "DUDE" off the edge that they've been missing.
9. Chicago Bears
Olu Fashanu, OT, Penn State
Caleb Williams could use another weapon but protection is more important. Olu Fashanu has one of the highest ceilings in the class. His blend of size, athleticism, raw power, and anchor makes him an ideal cornerstone LT to pair with a franchise QB.
10. New York Jets
Taliese Fuaga, OT, Oregon State
Taliese Fuaga is one of the nastiest and more physical blockers in the class. His plus athleticism will help Breece Hall in the run game but also protect Aaron Rodgers coming off a torn Achilles.
11. Los Angeles Chargers (via Trade-Down w/ MIN)
Rome Odunze, WR, Washington
Mike Williams' contract ends after the 2024 season. Quentin Johnston is expected and hoping to have a strong second season. Rome Odunze brings an immediate WR1 to this offense. His route-running, leaping ability, and speed will give Justin Herbert more than enough skill position talent to threaten the AFC West in 2024.

12. Denver Broncos
Dallas Turner, EDGE, Alabama
Dallas Turner is a great consolation prize for a team that cannot get the QB they desire. His first-step quickness, explosive athleticism, and steady pass-rush development make him an ideal EDGE1 candidate for a defense.
13. Las Vegas Raiders
Johnny Newton, IDL, Illinois
Johnny Newton brings a quick-twitched and active-handed IDL that would excel as a 3-technique. Newton brings strong value on third/passing downs to pressure opposing quarterbacks. He could not test at the NFL Combine but do not overthink his skill set or value.
14. New Orleans Saints
Tyler Guyton, OT, Oklahoma
It's time to move on from the Trevor Penning project. Tyler Guyton is a former TE converted to OT with the athleticism to match. He can flip to LT and develop into a long-term starter.
15. Indianapolis Colts
Brock Bowers, TE, Georgia
Anthony Richardson returns for the 2024 season healthy and with an impact receiving talent to exploit mismatches with. The tight end position is a weak spot for the Colts' offense and Brock Bowers gives them an explosive run-after-catch threat for Richardson to enjoy targeting for years to come.
16. Seattle Seahawks
Laiatu Latu, EDGE, UCLA
Laiatu Latu gives new HC Mike Macdonald a go-to pass rusher with an NFL-ready game. His craftiness cannot be overlooked or overstated. He knows how to get to the quarterback with a polished arsenal.
17. Jacksonville Jaguars
Quinyon Mitchell, CB, Toledo
Quinyon Mitchell brings elite athleticism and outstanding coverage ability/upside to a Jaguars defense in need. A true CB1 to pair with this growing pass rush in Duval County sounds like a dream scenario.
18. Cincinnati Bengals
Adonai Mitchell, WR, Texas
Tee Higgins received the franchise tag, but WR remains a need for the Bengals. Adonai Mitchell crushed the NFL Combine and has a tremendous skill set. His stock has surely risen. Putting him alongside Ja'Marr Chase with Joe Burrow at QB has scary potential.
19. Los Angeles Rams
Nate Wiggins, CB, Clemson
The Rams' pass rush was great last season but the secondary left a lot to be desired. Nate Wiggins is an incredible athlete with an explosive trigger downhill to click, close, and take the ball away. He can fill their CB1 void left by the trade of Jalen Ramsey last offseason.
20. Pittsburgh Steelers
JC Latham, OT, Alabama
Broderick Jones had an up-and-down rookie campaign, mostly because he was playing out of position. Drafting JC Latham allows Jones to go back to LT, creating a physical OT duo to protect Russell Wilson. Their run game will receive a boost in power and physicality as well.
21. Miami Dolphins
Jackson Powers-Johnson, IOL, Oregon
Jackson Powers-Johnson is the best IOL in the draft. His versatility to play either center or guard is of great value. He will make Tua Tagovailoa's life easier by helping secure the interior pocket, allowing him to step up and away from edge pressure. Powers-Johnson brings a level of physicality this offense needs.
22. Philadelphia Eagles
Xavier Worthy, WR, Texas
The Eagles need a true WR3 that can take the top off the defense. Well, a guy who broke the 40-yard dash record and plays just as fast on the tape sounds like a perfect solution. Xavier Worthy is the fastest man in the class but he runs good routes as well. He, A.J. Brown, and DeVonta Smith are a dangerous trio to try and defend.
23. Houston Texans (via CLE)
Byron Murphy II, IDL, Texas
DeMeco Ryans has a few cornerstone defenders to build around. Adding Byron Murphy II gives him an IDL that will improve Houston's run defense and collapse the pocket against opposing quarterbacks.
24. Dallas Cowboys
Troy Fautanu, OT, Washington
Tyron Smith is headed to free agency after an illustrious career in Dallas. This leaves a big void at the LT position. Troy Fautanu will pair with LG Tyler Smith and form a physical, tone-setting left side of the OL in Dallas. Fautanu has outstanding athleticism and strength. The run game should return with this selection.
25. Green Bay Packers
Graham Barton, OL, Duke
Josh Myers is not the answer at the center. Graham Barton played OT but his game is best suited for the interior. He can mirror and match rushers along with opening lanes in the run game. Jordan Love gets an upgrade on the IOL.
26. Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Xavier Legette, WR, South Carolina
Mike Evans and Baker Mayfield are back in the fold for Tampa Bay. Still, there is a need at the wide receiver position for the long term. Xavier Legette will give them a young weapon with a high ceiling. He can learn from both Evans and Chris Godwin to develop quicker.
27. Arizona Cardinals (via HOU)
Kool-Aid McKinstry, CB, Alabama
Jonathan Gannon needs a true CB1 for his defense. Kool-Aid McKinstry is the best pure man-to-man cornerback in the class. He can be trusted to defend opponents' top WRs on a weekly basis.
28. Buffalo Bills
Brian Thomas Jr., WR, LSU
Gabe Davis hits free agency, leaving a void at the WR2 spot for Buffalo. Brian Thomas Jr. is a raw route-runner but offers the height, weight, speed, and ball skills that'll pair well with star WR Stefon Diggs. Josh Allen has the arm talent Thomas Jr. needs to flourish early on.
29. Detroit Lions
Terrion Arnold, CB, Alabama
Dan Campbell has needed CBs for long enough. Terrion Arnold is the answer to their questions in the secondary. He fits the culture of toughness and grit. He is arguably the best mover in the class. Whether in pass coverage or run support, Arnold will bring everything to the fight.
30. Baltimore Ravens
Keon Coleman, WR, Florida State
Despite running a slower 40-yard dash at the NFL Combine, Keon Coleman has the build/frame you want as an X-receiver. Coleman would pair well with Zay Flowers, Isaiah Likely, and Mark Andrews to give Lamar Jackson the full array of weapons he needs.
31. San Francisco 49ers
Kingsley Suamataia, OT, BYU
Kingsley Suamataia's pre-draft process has been successful overall. He can play both OT spots and the RT position needs upgrading for San Francisco. Suamataia and Trent Williams as bookend tackles will keep Brock Purdy clean in the pocket.
32. Kansas City Chiefs
Troy Franklin, WR, Oregon
The Chiefs need speed to bring that explosive deep passing game back to life. Troy Franklin is one of the best deep-threat receivers in the class. Pairing him with Travis Kelce and Rashee Rice gives Patrick Mahomes a threat for every level of the defense.

33. Carolina Panthers
Ladd McConkey, WR, Georgia
34. New England Patriots
Ja'Tavion Sanders, TE, Texas
35. Arizona Cardinals
Darius Robinson, EDGE, Missouri
36. Washington Commanders
Chop Robinson, EDGE, Penn State
37. Los Angeles Chargers
Cooper DeJean, CB, Iowa
38. Tennessee Titans
Jalen McMillan, WR, Washington
39. New York Giants
Amarius Mims, OT, Georgia
40. Washington Commanders (via CHI)
Edgerrin Cooper, LB, Texas A&M
41. Green Bay Packers (via NYJ)
T.J. Tampa, CB, Iowa State
42. Los Angeles Chargers (via Trade w/ MIN)
Blake Corum, RB, Michigan
43. Atlanta Falcons
Ricky Pearsall, WR, Florida
44. Las Vegas Raiders
Michael Penix Jr., QB, Washington
45. New Orleans Saints (via DEN)
Chris Braswell, EDGE, Alabama
46. Indianapolis Colts
Cam Hart, CB, Notre Dame
47. New York Giants (via SEA)
Ruke Orhorhoro, EDGE, Clemson
48. Jacksonville Jaguars
T'Vondre Sweat, IDL, Texas
49. Cincinnati Bengals
Roger Rosengarten, OT, Washington
50. Philadelphia Eagles (via NO)
Ennis Rakestraw Jr., CB, Missouri
51. Pittsburgh Steelers
Spencer Rattler, QB, South Carolina
52. Los Angeles Rams
Bralen Trice, EDGE, Washington
53. Philadelphia Eagles
Payton Wilson, LB, NC State
54. Cleveland Browns
Bo Nix, QB, Oregon
55. Miami Dolphins
Theo Johnson, TE, Penn State
56. Dallas Cowboys
Kris Jenkins, IDL, Michigan
57. Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Christian Haynes, IOL, Connecticut
58. Green Bay Packers
Tyler Nubin, SAF, Minnesota
59. Houston Texans
Adisa Isaac, EDGE, Penn State
60. Buffalo Bills
Jaden Hicks, SAF, Washington State
61. Detroit Lions
Mason McCormick, IOL, South Dakota State
62. Baltimore Ravens
Renardo Green, CB, Florida State
63. San Francisco 49ers
Kamari Lassiter, CB, Georgia
64. Kansas City Chiefs
Mike Sainristil, CB, Michigan
