Tulane wide receiver Jha'Quan Jackson entered this year's Senior Bowl as an underrated commodity. That's no longer the case after the Green Wave standout enjoyed an outstanding week of practice. Jackson was terrific in Mobile, putting forth the kind of showing that will boost his pre-draft stock come April.

Jackson consistently showcased his playmaking potential throughout individual and team drills. This eye-opening rep highlights Jackson's speed and ability to win vertically. This goes for a touchdown on Sundays.

Jackson flashed improvement on an annual basis at Tulane. He particularly showcased chemistry with quarterback Michael Pratt during the latter half of his college football career. This past season, he averaged a career-high 44 receiving yards per game despite being limited to 10 appearances.

Jackson routinely created explosive plays in Willie Fritz's offense, averaging 16 yards per reception through five productive campaigns. In 2020, Jackson scored eight receiving touchdowns, showcasing an efficient nose for finding the end zone. Jackson leaves Tulane with 19 total touchdowns as a dual-threat player.

Jackson projects as a slot receiver at the next level. It's a position that has become increasingly important in today's NFL as pass-happy offenses continue to shift away from heavy sets while embracing 11 personnel and the possibilities that come with it. Jackson is a versatile slot wideout who will provide explosive plays for an offense.

Short-area quickness and sudden burst are at the forefront of Jackson's receiving skill set. Jackson spent four seasons as roommates with former Tulane running back Tyjae Spears, another ex-Senior Bowl standout who happened to have an incredible rookie season in the pros. Jackson plays like he paid close attention to Spears.

Rare acceleration allows Jackson to make plays in the short, intermediate, and deep portions of the field. Opposing defensive backs have a difficult time matching Jackson stride for stride. The Luling, Louisiana native can utilize a speed release that puts defenders in a blender or a more tempoed release that offers a unique look. Cornerbacks struggled with it all week long in Mobile.

Jackson creates separation through stop-start quickness and an ability to sink his hips and get out of his breaks. He's a savvy, technically advanced route-runner. Jackson then poses a massive threat to the secondary after the catch. Jackson is a natural yards-after-catch producer, one that combines vision with speed in the open field.

Jackson is also almost certain to make an immediate impact at the next level through special teams. An ace as a special teams returner, Jackson totaled 734 yards as a kick returner and 664 yards and a touchdown as a punt returner. NFL special teams coaches will quickly make Jackson a starring special teams performer.

The 2024 NFL Draft is loaded at the wide receiver position. Don't forget about Jackson, who had an extremely productive week in Mobile. Jackson will be making explosive plays for an NFL offense next season.
